Triggers
A trigger decides when an agent starts work.
Events
Pick any number of events, across tools too. The agent runs whenever one fires. Each event can be narrowed to specific resources, for example one repository instead of Any repository.
| Connector | Events |
|---|---|
| GitHub | PR opened, PR marked ready for review, Review requested, PR merged |
| Slack | Message posted, Direct message, Member joined channel |
| Jira | Ticket assigned |
| Linear | Issue assigned |
| Asana | Task assigned |
| Datadog | Monitor triggered |
| Notion | Page created, Comment added |
| Shopify | Order placed, Refund issued |
Velo follows the work from there. When a later event concerns something the agent already produced, like a reply in the channel it opened or a comment on its pull request, the same run picks it up rather than a new one starting.
Schedules
The agent starts at set times, in your time zone, and daylight saving time is handled for you.
