Configuration
Brain → Configuration is where your knowledge lives, and what Velo collects into it. It needs GitHub connected first.
Connecting the vault
Choose a Repository Velo's GitHub app can reach. Under Advanced, choose a Branch (the repository's default if left empty) and a Folder (the repository root if left empty). Connect brain creates the branch if it's missing, commits a brain.yml and a README.md, and indexes any notes already there.
You can move the vault later. Moving it deletes nothing. You can also switch the brain off entirely.
The Librarian
Choose its model, switch it on or off, and open its runs.
The Dreamer
- its model (its first step always runs on Haiku);
- its schedule: daily or weekly, on chosen days, at a chosen time;
- how many months of history it looks back over, up to 36;
- how many gaps it fills per run.
For a new, empty vault, Prime the empty vault runs it daily for up to 10 rounds to build a first body of knowledge.
Knowledge base
Choose which events the Librarian collects from: a row per connector, event and repository or channel, each with a Collect checkbox. Follow Velo's defaults resets the selection. Collecting nothing pauses the Librarian.
Press Save settings to apply. Velo warns you before you leave with unsaved changes.
