Introduction
Velo is a platform for agents that do real work across your company's tools. An agent reviews a pull request, answers a question in a Slack thread, triages a ticket, or writes up a decision. It works where the work already lives.
Four ideas cover most of Velo:
- Agents are teammates you describe once: who they are, what they can reach, when they start, and the steps they follow.
- Connectors link Velo to your tools, such as GitHub, Slack, Jira and Linear. An agent can only use the connectors you grant it.
- The Company Brain is a knowledge base of markdown notes in your own GitHub repository. Agents read it, and Velo keeps it current.
- Runs are every piece of work an agent does. Each tool call is recorded in the audit log.
The app has six places in its sidebar: Agents, Runs, Brain (with Graph and Configuration), Audit log, Connectors and Settings.
